Creating My Strive Account

As a new Canadian Natural employee, you can create an account in My Strive 7 days after receiving your first pay.  


Click on “Create your account” in the blue box on My Strive page and follow the prompts.


Your Employee ID is a number found on your payslip under “Person Number”.


Step 1 – Check that you have entered the required information in the correct format, such as:

  • Employee ID (shown as Person Number on your payslip)
  • Last and First Name entered are same as shown on paystub
  • Birthdate in the following format: Month, Day, Year (i.e. 6/22/1987).
Step 2 - If the above is not accepted by the system, please click here to connect with our technical team.


Note you cannot create a password that has been previously used.

Your password must contain the following:

  • One uppercase letter;
  • One lowercase letter;
  • A number;
  • At least 8 characters long.
 


Once your account is created, it will take up to 24 hours for the system to update it with credits earned to date.  


The Strive program is part of the benefits offered to Canadian Natural’s permanent staff, hence is not available to students or sub-contractors.




My Strive Account Access

You can reset your password on My Strive by clicking on the “Forgot my password” on the left side of the page and follow the prompts.  


Ensure that the keyboard is not locked as capitals (CapsLock) or the numbers lock key is off (NumLock). If you are still unsuccessful, reset your password here Forgot my password and follow the prompts.  


Note you cannot create a password that has been previously used.

Your password must contain the following:

  • One uppercase letter;
  • One lowercase letter;
  • A number;
  • At least 8 characters long.
 


You can access your account by resetting your password – click here on “Forgot my password” and follow the prompts.  


Employee ID (shown as Person Number on your payslip)

Your password must contains the following:

  • One uppercase letter;
  • One lowercase letter;
  • A number;
  • At least 8 characters long.
If you forgot your password, reset it by clicking on “Forgot my password” and follow the prompts.


Make sure you have entered your Employee ID (shown as Person Number on your payslip) correctly. A confirmation will be sent to the email address on this account to finalize your password reset.
